P.J. Cody, rider of Desmond George, trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly right up the straight.

041C BAR 1 Betting Tommy Carberry H'cap H'dle

T. Power Roche, rider of Billy Lee Swagger, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his reins broke and he pulled up.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Our Uncle Jack, trained by Martin Paul Fitzgerald, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly and he pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Our Uncle Jack, trained by Martin Paul Fitzgerald, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Billy Lee Swagger, trained by P.J. Rothwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

041D BAR 1 Betting Bobbyjo S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Three Card Brag, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.C. Gainford, rider of Gerri Colombe (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his clean record into account suspended him for three race days.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident turning out of the back straight involving Gerri Colombe (FR), ridden by J.C. Gainford, and Three Card Brag, ridden by J.W. Kennedy, where it appeared these horses got tight for room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

041E Easter Festival 4th-6th April H'cap Hdle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Teds Corner, trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on its left hind post race.

J.G. Gilligan, rider of Survivors Sister, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tired very quickly.

041F Group Discounts Easter Rated Novice S'ch

The Raceday Stewards interviewed E. Staples, rider of Maxi Mac Gold (FR), concerning his use of the whip in latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned stated that his horse was leaning out and he was using his whip to keep his mount straight. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his clean record into account suspended him for two race days.

041H Get Your Easter Festival Tickets Hcp Sch

P.M. O'Brien, rider of Jerk (FR), trained by William Durkan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount took a stumble, stopped quickly and pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Shanroe Nelson, trained by Karl Thornton, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race, possibly as a result of kickback.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed P.T. Smithers, rider of One Horse Army, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he was trying to keep the momentum up on the ground. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his clean record into account suspended him for three race days.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Karl Thornton, trainer of Shanroe Nelson, reported that his charge was found to have mucous in his trachea on endoscopic examination post race.
